A friend is not always necessarily a person you’ll see on a daily basis, or someone you can turn to whenever you’re in need. Sometimes there are friends who go absent for years (sometimes it’s you), but in the event of spontaneous reunion, both individuals can easily continue where they left off. That is the beauty of genuine friendship: when a relationship breaks off in two directions, with the acceptance that two lives can’t always follow the same path, but if and when granted another chance to cross paths, any prior gap of time to that event, or distance, is immediately dismissed, or replaced by productivity, and strengthened foundation, rather than questioned.
